Another Success for Gymnast Abi
Newlands pupil Abigail Jaques travelled to Birmingham on April 26th to take part in the National Final of the Ladies Artistic Gymnastics Grade 7. Abigail was also there as a member of the South East Regional Team.
The ladies event was very fierce and it showed in the points as Abi was placed 21st with only 2 points between her and a medal position.The team were finally placed sixth out of 13 areas with Abi coming second out of the four girls who competed from the South East.
This is the second time Abi has qualified for the National Finals. – very well done Abi
