Fitness Fun with Top Gymnast
International Gymnast, Danny Lawrence took time out of his busy schedule on Friday, 17th October, to support a sponsored fitness circuit event involving children in the Prep School at Newlands.
The visit was arranged by the organisation Sports for School, which helps to raise funds for schools and athletes on the road to the 2012 Olympics.
Following the fitness circuit, the children were privileged to watch Danny perform a breathtaking gymnastic display. This was followed by a display from pupils Jade Cruise and Abi Jaques, both members of the Sussex Ladies Artistic Gymnastics Squad.
Leaving at the end of an energetic morning Danny said “ What a fantastic school, I have had such a great time and hope that I have inspired the children to join a sports club.”
