Children in Years 3 to 5 enjoyed a wonderful start to the Autumn Term by participating in a week of fun activities to celebrate Roald Dahl Day. Incorporating a mixture of academic and fun activities, the week focused on the books ‘The BFG’ and ‘The Twits’.

The five days culminated in a practical exercise of making the BFG’s favourite (but disgusting) drink ‘Frobscottle’ and ‘Giant Sandwiches’.

Speaking at the end of an enjoyable week, Teacher, Yvonne Miller said: “Roald Dahl stories simply fascinate children, he is the perfect author to use to bring books to life.”

Molly McDonald and George Kyprianou insist that the Headmaster try a sip of their Frobscottle drink.
