Communications Ethos

The school continuously works very hard to improve communication between the school and parents. Our communications ethos is open and transparent.  And we very much welcome parents visiting, calling and emailing the school with any concerns.

In addition to the school calendar and letters, the school also produces a fortnightly bulletin.  Plus, we've recently launched our School Blog - the objective of which is to keep parents, children, teachers and the community aware of what is happening at Newlands.

The school’s website has also been totally refreshed and contains a wealth of additional information for both our current parents and our prospective parents.

The school website will develop further to include a ‘Parents Portal’ which allows parents to ‘log on’ and obtain information on school bulletins, newsletters, future dates, menus, the School council and even access homework!

To ensure that you receive regular communications, we ask all parents to register their email addresses with us.
